Maternal & Perinatal Therapy in Southlake, TX

Becoming a mom changes everything, and not all of it is joyful. You can love your baby and still feel anxious, sad, or like a stranger to yourself. That’s more common than anyone admits, and support is here.

At Mosaic Way Counseling, our Southlake therapists walk with women through pregnancy, birth, and the months that follow. We meet in person at our Southlake office or online anywhere in Texas.

What We Help With

Anxiety during pregnancy. Depression before or after birth. Pregnancy loss and miscarriage. Infertility and the strain of trying. A scary or traumatic birth. The identity shift of becoming a mother.

This is broader than postpartum care. We support you across the whole journey, from trying to conceive through your baby’s first year and beyond.

You're Not Failing

A hard season doesn’t make you a bad mom. Perinatal mood changes are medical, common, and treatable. Asking for help is a sign of strength. In a community where moms often feel they should look like they have it handled, that message matters. Moms in Timarron and Estes Park tell us they finally felt understood here.

How Therapy Helps

We use proven methods. CBT helps you work through anxious or heavy thoughts. EMDR can gently process a traumatic birth or a painful loss. Your therapist meets you at your pace.

Some of our therapists focus on birth trauma, pregnancy loss, and perinatal mood concerns. Our team is trained in EMDR, and several are EMDR-certified.

What It Costs

Sessions run $50 to $200 depending on licensure. We accept Aetna, Cigna, and Optimum directly. For other plans, we provide a monthly superbill you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
