What is the Goal of ART Therapy?
The goal of ART is to assist clients in reprogramming how distressing memories and images are stored in their brains. Unlike most therapeutic interventions or modalities, ART is known for its exceptionally rapid and long-lasting results and can typically remove negative images and sensations and provide relief for clients within 1-2 sessions!
How Does ART Work?
ART utilizes a process known as Voluntary Image Replacement, which allows the client to work through and properly store traumatic memories, images, and sensations that have historically caused mental and emotional distress. ART works further than just desensitizing clients to their symptoms; it allows clients to replace once negative sensations and images with positive ones.
