Individual Therapy in Southlake, TX
At Mosaic Way Counseling in Southlake, we work with high-achieving adults who want more from their mental and emotional health. Not because everything is broken, but because they know what’s possible and they’re ready to do the work.
What Individual Therapy Helps With
Our Southlake clients come in for a wide range of reasons:
- Anxiety and perfectionism
- Depression and persistent low mood
- Trauma and PTSD
- Grief and loss
- Burnout and career-related stress
- Life transitions — divorce, career shifts, new parenthood, empty nesting
- Relationship patterns that keep repeating
- Identity, self-worth, and purpose
- The sense that they're doing everything right but still don't feel well
Individual therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis. For many of our clients, it’s an investment in sustained wellbeing — the same way they’d invest in physical health or professional development.
There’s a version of thriving that looks good from the outside but doesn’t quite match how things feel on the inside. That gap — between how things appear and how you actually experience your life — is often what brings people to individual therapy.
Our therapists are experienced clinicians with specialized training matched to what you’re dealing with. We’ll help you find the right fit from the start.
How We Work
Your first session is a conversation. Your therapist will ask what brought you in, some background about your life and history, and what you’re hoping changes. You’ll leave with a clear sense of what working together looks like.
From there, we build a treatment plan specific to your goals. Our therapists use evidence-based approaches — CBT, EMDR, ACT, and somatic techniques — matched to your situation. We adjust as you make progress and your needs shift.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients start weekly and move to a different cadence as they build momentum.
Why Choose Mosaic Way for Individual Therapy in Southlake
Southlake is a community that rewards high performance. Our therapists understand what that pressure looks like from the inside. They also understand what it costs — and they’re not here to add to it.
We keep caseloads intentionally low so our clinicians show up to your sessions fully resourced. The therapeutic relationship matters here. We match you with care, and if the fit isn’t right, we’ll help you find someone better suited without making it complicated.
Our office is at 2435 E Southlake Blvd #140. We serve clients in Southlake and surrounding communities including Keller, Grapevine, Colleyville, Westlake, Northlake, and Trophy Club. Virtual sessions are available for all Texas residents.
We accept Aetna, Cigna, and Optimum. Out-of-network documentation is available for other plans. HSA and FSA funds are accepted.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does individual therapy take?
It depends on what you’re working through. Some clients reach their goals in 10 to 16 sessions. Others find value in longer-term work. Your therapist will give you a realistic picture in the first few sessions.
Is what I share in therapy confidential?
Yes. Sessions are private. Your therapist will explain the narrow legal exceptions — such as imminent safety concerns — from the start.
What if I've tried therapy before and it didn't help?
Different approaches work for different people. Tell us what didn’t feel useful, and we’ll take that into account when matching you with a therapist and approach.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Secure telehealth is available for Texas residents.
