About Mandy

Mandy Wiedenheft is dedicated to creating a safe and empathetic environment where clients feel at ease processing the more challenging parts of their story. Specializing in treating teens, young adults, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression, she draws upon a broad range of experience to serve a diverse clientele. Mandy’s previous work as a crisis intervention counselor in a school setting equipped her with insights into helping young people develop essential life skills. Her passion extends to working with families, couples, mothers, and young adults, guiding them through life’s complexities.

Mandy believes in providing a safe space for her clients, allowing them to share their concerns while offering practical tools for positive change. Rather than focusing on isolated issues, she prefers to examine the whole picture, diving into different aspects of her clients’ lives. By addressing what might be hurting or holding them back, she fosters a supportive environment for healing and growth.

Professional Background

Mandy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Development-Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Woman’s University. Her professional experience includes roles in private practice and school settings, and she completed EMDR training in early 2023.
