Caroline approaches counseling with warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for each client’s story. She especially enjoys supporting children, teens, and young adults who feel pressure to “have it all figured out” while navigating self-worth, identity, relationships, and expectations placed on them. Caroline strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable slowing down, exploring their experiences, and developing greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.

Her approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive. Caroline integrates trauma-informed care, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Adlerian techniques, and play or activity-based interventions to meet clients where they are developmentally and emotionally. She also enjoys supporting couples and families as they work to strengthen communication and rebuild emotional connection and better understand the patterns shaping their relationships.

Caroline believes therapy is not only for moments of crisis, it can also be a meaningful space for personal growth, strengthening relationships, and learning healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges. She hopes clients leave sessions feeling more empowered, self-aware, and confident in their ability to move forward.

Outside of the counseling room, Caroline enjoys staying active through Pilates, hot yoga, spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, (Archie, a Havapoo, and Brooks, a Goldendoodle) and relaxing with a good reality TV show. As one of six siblings and a triplet, she deeply values connection and relationships, something that continues to shape the way she approaches her work with clients.

Bio & Background

Professional Background

Caroline earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where she received specialized training in trauma-informed care, play therapy techniques, and family counseling. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Missouri.

During her clinical training, Caroline gained valuable experience supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma and abuse. She provided counseling services at both the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County and the Irving Family Advocacy Center, where she worked with children, adults, and families navigating difficult life circumstances including domestic violence and trauma.

Through this work, Caroline developed strong skills in trauma-informed therapy, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and play-based interventions to support healing and resilience.
