Mandy brings a contagious energy, warmth, and authenticity into the counseling room that immediately helps people feel at ease. She’s the kind of therapist who can sit with you in the hard moments while also helping you laugh, breathe, and realize you’re going to be okay. Clients often walk away from sessions feeling not only understood, but encouraged, like they have someone genuinely in their corner.

She has a deep passion for working with teens, college students, and young adults who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of past experiences. Mandy especially enjoys working with clients who have experienced trauma or feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break, helping them process what they’ve been through and move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Mandy’s approach is both relational and practical. She’s not just there to listen, she’s there to help you make meaningful change. She equips her clients with tools they can actually use in their daily lives while also helping them understand the deeper “why” behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Using approaches like EMDR and ART, she helps clients process experiences in a way that feels manageable, empowering, and effective.

As the Clinical Lead of Mosaic Way’s College Station office, Mandy plays a key role in shaping the culture and care of the team. She is known for the way she shows up for others, with wisdom, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve both her clients and colleagues well. She was recognized as Mosaic Way’s Way-Bearer of the Year in 2026 for the way she consistently embodies the heart behind the work: showing up fully, caring deeply, and helping others grow.

If you’re someone who wants a therapist who will truly see you, challenge you when needed, and cheer you on every step of the way, Mandy may be a great fit. She creates a space where you can be honest, process what’s been heavy, and start moving toward the life you actually want.

Outside of the counseling room, Mandy is known for her love of iced lattes, workout classes, long walks with her husband, and spending time with friends. Her corgi keeps life fun, and she’s always up for good Tex-Mex or a visit to her favorite coffee spot. That same energy she brings into her everyday life: connection, joy, and presence, is something her clients experience in session too.

Bio & Background

Professional Background

Mandy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Development-Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Woman’s University. She has experience working in both crisis counseling and clinical settings, which has shaped her ability to support clients during some of their most overwhelming and vulnerable moments.

Her background in crisis work allows her to step into difficult situations with calm, clarity, and confidence, helping clients feel supported even when life feels chaotic or uncertain. Through her work, she has developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and helping clients navigate complex life experiences.

As a Clinical Lead at Mosaic Way Counseling, Mandy also plays a key role in supporting the clinical team through collaboration, consultation, and maintaining a high standard of care across the practice. She is passionate about creating an environment where both clients and clinicians feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Mandy integrates evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients process experiences, shift patterns, and build lasting change.

Specialties

Mandy works with clients who have been through difficult or painful experiences that still seem to show up in their day-to-day life, whether that’s anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, or feeling stuck. She helps clients safely process those experiences so they no longer feel as heavy or controlling, creating space for clarity, healing, and forward movement.
Whether it’s starting college, graduating, navigating a breakup, shifting careers, or stepping into a new season of life, transitions can feel exciting and overwhelming at the same time. Mandy helps clients make sense of where they are, figure out what’s next, and move forward with confidence instead of second-guessing every step.
For clients who feel constantly “on,” overthinking everything, or carrying a quiet sense of pressure they can’t seem to turn off, Mandy helps bring relief and perspective. She works with clients to understand what’s driving their anxiety and build practical tools that help them feel more grounded, calm, and in control.

Mandy enjoys working with clients who feel unsure of who they are, struggle with confidence, or find themselves seeking validation from others. Together, they explore identity, build self-trust, and develop a stronger, more secure sense of self that isn’t dependent on external approval.

Relationships can bring some of the deepest hurt and confusion. Mandy helps clients navigate conflict, breakups, and relational patterns, offering both support and honest insight. She helps clients better understand themselves in relationships and build healthier, more fulfilling connections moving forward.

For clients who feel overwhelmed by their emotions or unsure how to manage them, Mandy provides tools to better understand what they’re feeling and why. She helps clients respond to emotions in a way that feels more steady, intentional, and less reactive.

Modalities

EMDR allows Mandy to help clients process experiences that feel “stuck” in their mind or body. Instead of just talking through what happened, this approach helps the brain reprocess those experiences so they feel less overwhelming and no longer carry the same emotional weight.

ART is a structured, efficient approach Mandy uses to help clients quickly reduce the intensity of distressing memories and experiences. Many clients find this approach helpful when they feel ready to move forward but aren’t sure how to get there.

CBT helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Mandy uses this approach in a practical, real-life way, helping clients recognize patterns and make changes that actually show up outside of session.

Adlerian Therapy helps Mandy guide clients in understanding how their early experiences, relationships, and beliefs have shaped the way they see themselves and the world. This approach allows clients to gain insight into long-standing patterns while also building a stronger sense of purpose, confidence, and direction.

Solution-Focused Therapy helps clients move out of feeling stuck by identifying what’s already working and building from there. Mandy uses this approach to help clients set realistic goals, take meaningful steps forward, and see progress in their everyday life.

For clients working through relationship challenges, Mandy integrates Gottman-informed techniques to help improve communication, build understanding, and navigate conflict in a healthier way.
