Reaching out for counseling can feel like a lot, especially when someone is already overwhelmed or unsure where to start. Ema helps make that first step feel easier. As Mosaic Way Counseling’s Client Care & Practice Coordinator, she helps new and current clients get connected with care while making sure the process feels clear and personal. Her hope is that clients leave an interaction with her feeling understood and a little more hopeful than they did before.
Ema is also someone who likes to solve problems and find practical next steps. She brings empathy, patience, and resourcefulness into her role, whether she is helping someone find the right therapist, answering questions, coordinating care, or keeping the details behind the scenes organized.
Outside of work, Ema loves spending time with her husband, Gabriel, their two fur babies, Loki and Rooster, and her family. She has played basketball since she was four and still enjoys getting on the court from time to time. She and Gabriel also love going to concerts, and their collection of concert merch has taken over a good part of their closet.
When she needs to recharge, Ema enjoys journaling, watching Jeopardy! or a good documentary, and trying new restaurants around DFW. She also cares deeply about serving her community and enjoys supporting causes that help families with food, clothing, and other basic needs. That same desire to notice what people need and help in practical ways shows up naturally in her work at Mosaic Way.

Ema is a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker in Texas and holds both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Women in Leadership.
Before joining Mosaic Way, Ema spent several years in school-based social work and program management. She worked closely with children, teens, and families who were navigating academic, behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. She also coordinated resources, managed large caseloads, and often served as the main point of communication between families, schools, and community partners.
That experience taught Ema to look at the whole person, not just the immediate problem. She learned how important it is to understand someone’s needs, recognize their strengths, and help them find realistic support that fits their situation.
Ema also brings experience in program management, outreach, communication, community engagement, and the day-to-day systems that help an organization run well. At Mosaic Way, she brings all of that together to support both the client experience and the practice behind the scenes.
More than anything, Ema wants people to know they do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. They can come with questions, uncertainty, and whatever they are carrying. Her goal is to help make the next step feel a little clearer and a lot less intimidating.
