About Lauren
Lauren moved from California to Texas in 2020, seeking a break from the hectic pace of life in Los Angeles. Not long after her move, she met a lifelong Texan, who she plans to marry later this year. Besides relishing time with her fiancé and future stepdaughter, Lauren loves being outdoors and playing with her two dogs, Odin, a German Shepherd, and Remi, a Golden Doodle.
Professional Background
In her professional life, Lauren is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a master’s degree from the University of Central Florida. She is currently working under the supervision of Lisa Delaplace, LCSW-S. Lauren’s previous role at a homeless shelter has given her valuable experience in helping clients deal with serious trauma. While working there, she supported a diverse group of people facing high stress, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. In her therapy sessions, Lauren emphasizes open and honest communication, focusing on highlighting and building upon her clients’ strengths.
